Math: In Math we learned Order of Operations, we learned a song, and created a foldable and had lots of homework problems to practice. We also reviewed Ratios and Circles and took a quiz to see our progress.
SAT: We practice subtraction of Integers with positive and negatives.
A very special thanks to Mr. Vit Kaspar who came this week to help our Falcons with our new vegetable garden. Here are some picture of Princeton planting, lettuce, radish, carrots, and cilantro seeds. We can't wait to see some green in this garden!

Week of November 11-15, 2013
The Third Six Weeks are
here and we are only weeks away from ending this wonderful first semester.
Although we start to look forward to the Holidays we still have a lot of work
to do, and new objectives to learn before that time comes. This week we
introduced Ratios in Honors Math and Integers in SAT.
Here are some of our Falcons learning ratios through an activity name GORP Math. Every student had
a sandwich bag of GORP (Goldfish, Orange candy, Raisins, and Pretzels), and
they had to find the ratio of every ingredient in that bag. Of course our 6th
grade Falcons loved this lesson because they go to eat their GORP after they
finished their class assignment.
